An unbelievable dessert, especially in the summer.
1 Pound oreo cookies, crushed
1 Cup butter, melted (divided)
1/2 Gallon(s) softened vanilla ice cream
1 Cup(s) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 Cup(s) peanuts
1 1/3 evaporated milk
1 Teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1/2 Cup(s) powdered sugar
Crush oreos and mix with half cup melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan. Freeze. Soften ice cream slightly and spread over top of crust. Place back in freezer. Mix together chocolate chips, milk, and butter in a saucepan. Boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Let cool almost completely. Pour peanuts over the dessert. Pour over the chocolate mixture. Freeze again before serving.
