Dutch Applie Pie
Just as delicious as traditional pie without fussing with a perfect crust.
Serves 8
pie crust: enough for bottom crust only

5 cups peeled, sliced apples
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp cinnamon
Crumble Topping:
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cups flour
6 tablespoons butter (cold)
Mix filling, pour into crust.

Mix topping with pastry knife, lightly press over filling.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.

-- You can also freeze it before baking. It takes much longer to bake from frozen, but the texture and taste are still good.
