Delightful sugar cookies, especially for Christmas.
1 cup butter (softened)
1 ½ cup powered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. almond extract
2 ½ cup flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tarter
Cover and chill for 2 hours
Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 375 degrees for about 7 minutes (or until golden brown).
Frost with your favorite frosting when cooled.
