Oatmeal Carmelitas
Heavenly. You have to try them.
Bar Foundation
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Oatmeal
1.5 Cups Brown Sugar
1 tsp Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1.5 Cup melted Butter

2 cups chocolate chips (approx)

Caramel Sauce
3/4 cup Caramel ice cream topping
1 - 3 tbsp flour (optional)

Directions
Combine all except chocolate chips in large bowl. Press a little over half of these crumbs in 13 x 9 inch pan (ungreased). Bake for 10 minutes. Top with chocolate chips. If you prefer a less "gooey" bar, combine prepared caramel topping with flour. Drizzle caramel sauce over chocolate chips and crust. Sprinkle other half of crumbs over top. Bake at 350 for about 25-28 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool.
